Valverde Commons is located in the Town of Taos, a small community in northern New Mexico nestled in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range and minutes from the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument. At an altitude of 6,969 feet, Valverde Commons enjoys the benefits of all four seasons, temperate weather, clean fresh air, abundant sunshine, and gorgeous sunsets.
It’s an easy walk from Valverde Commons to the Taos Historic District, home to retail shopping, concerts, and festive celebrations. The Taos Pueblo, established 800 years ago, is just up the road and open to the public for tours and events. Twenty-five miles to our north is the Taos Ski Valley, home to some of the finest skiing in the southwest.
Sixty miles to our south is Santa Fe. Founded in 1607, it is the oldest capital in the United States. The Santa Fe Regional Airport has flights to Albuquerque International Sunport, Denver International Airport, or DFW International Airport for domestic and international flights. Taos Rides shuttle service is available to and from the Santa Fe or Albuquerque airports.
