Sunset Park, ten acres of open space adjacent to Valverde Commons cohousing community, is held in a conservation easement by the Taos Land Trust for use by Taos residents. Sunset Park opens at sunrise and gates close one hour after sunset.

The Town of Taos animal control laws are enforced at Sunset Park. All dogs must be on a leash and under control. Please pick up your pet waste and take with you as you leave the park (please, do not dispose of animal waste in adjacent homeowner’s garbage bins).
